1130 - Meditating on God's Words Makes Everything Smooth

Let us start with a prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father, we especially thank and praise you for your grace. Lord, your words are a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. May we come to know you more deeply and draw closer to you through your words, for your words are our strength and our help. You say, and it is done; you command, and it stands firm. Your words are established in heaven, and you uphold all things by your word.

Because your words never change, your promises never fail. May the Holy Spirit open our hearts, allowing us to hear and believe in the power of your words, to meditate on your words repeatedly, day and night, so that they may become our healing, our comfort, our strength in weakness, and our help at all times.

Let your words become seeds in our hearts, bearing the fruits of the Spirit. Bless every brother and sister who comes here, that through meditating on God's words, their paths may be smooth and everything may go well. Thank you and praise the Lord! We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Let us read the Bible, Joshua 1:8. "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

This Book of the Law is not the Ten Commandments; it refers to the Pentateuch. At the time of Joshua, God had given all the scriptures, which were only the Pentateuch. Therefore, such scriptures shall not depart from your mouth. It is clearly stated here, "shall not depart from your mouth."

Today, we have much more scripture than Joshua did, and it is complete. Therefore, such words should not be just in your home or on your bookshelf, but should always be in your mouth. When God's words are in your mouth, all blessings will quickly come upon you, and importantly, everything you do will be as promised in the Bible, and everything will go well. Hallelujah!

How should we do this? The scripture says, "You shall meditate on it day and night." So today, our topic is meditating on God's words makes everything smooth.

Earlier, it was mentioned, "that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it." The ability to obey God's words comes from first meditating on His words. These words first enter our mouths, then into our hearts, and only then can we keep and obey them. When you do so, a great blessing will follow.

"Then," means if you do this, your way will be prosperous, and everything will go well. Thank you and praise the Lord! It does not say that some of the things you do will go smoothly. It tells us that everything will go well. Thank you and praise the Lord!

We see Joshua's life. After the great prophet and leader Moses died, Joshua became Moses' successor, continuing to lead the Israelites into the promised land. At this time, Joshua actually felt uncertain; he did not know how to lead this group of people because he had seen for many years that this group was indeed difficult to lead. Although they had witnessed many miracles, they often complained; complaining was their specialty, and they almost stoned Moses to death.

Facing the road ahead, Joshua had many unknowns in his heart; he did not know how to proceed. At this time, God came to comfort Joshua, saying, "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed." Because at this moment, Joshua might have been truly afraid and confused, not knowing what to do. God told him, "For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

When God told him to be strong and courageous, He had already given him the method, revealing to Joshua the secret to everything going well, which is what we just read: "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night." In this way, when you face your path, you will be prosperous, and everything will go well. Thank you and praise the Lord!

We cannot see the situation Joshua was in at that time, but we can see today that there is a very unique country in this world called Israel, and indeed the people of Israel regard the Pentateuch as very important. They are indeed a blessed group of people in this world.

Because Deuteronomy 6 tells us,

"You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up; you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

God told the people of Israel that wherever you go, I want you to see my words. God gave the people of Israel a very important method and secret for them to be blessed.

Another familiar scripture is found in Psalm 1, which many people may have memorized.

Psalm 1:2 mentions, "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. This man shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."

You will find that the two verses from Psalm 1 and the passage we read today seem to be identical. This is a blessing from God; God desires that His children prosper in their paths and that what they do is successful. One of the secrets for those who believe in Jesus Christ today to have everything go well is to meditate on God's words.

So today we will focus on what meditation will bring you.

Meditation can bring you joy and peace like never before. We not only need to listen to the word but also to listen to the correct word. We should not hastily listen to the word; we need to meditate on what we hear.

How do we meditate? It is to quietly recite, which can be understood as softly repeating the relevant scriptures. We should meditate day and night with these scriptures in our mouths, softly reciting them. This means they shall not depart from your mouth, and when you do so, it will surely bring you benefits. Thank the Lord!

Many brothers and sisters may ask, how exactly should we do this? Today I will use a passage of scripture as an example, and perhaps you will understand. Of course, this is just an example; you can use other scriptures and apply this method of meditation. Once you understand this method, you can apply it to any scripture you enjoy, and it will benefit you.

So today we will use Matthew 8:16-17 as an example. I will tell the brothers and sisters how to meditate on this passage. Who does this passage apply to? For example, if you have a certain illness, perhaps you have been treated for a long time without effect. You can use this passage for meditation. When you meditate, I suggest that you memorize this passage, so that wherever you are, you can meditate on it at any time. You won't need to flip through the Bible anymore. Memorize this passage, then recite it quietly and meditate on it repeatedly.

Let’s look at Matthew 8:16-17:

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."

For these two verses, you can take one of the phrases to meditate on repeatedly, "Jesus healed all who were sick." This is the first scripture you can use for meditation. If you are sick, then think, "Jesus healed all who were sick." You are currently a sick person, and Jesus can certainly heal your illness. Then you can also meditate on the latter two sentences.

Today I am giving an example to the brothers and sisters: "He bore my sickness." When the Bible says "our," you can replace it with "my." Thank the Lord, He took my infirmities and bore my sickness. When you are a sick person, you can meditate on this while working, or if you are a housewife, you can think about it while cooking, or while driving, at any time and place, you can meditate on this sentence,

――"Who is your healer?"

――"Jesus Christ."

――"What kind of person does He want to heal?"

――"Everyone who comes to seek Him."

――"Then I am the one who comes to seek Him." How is my sickness healed?

――"Jesus healed all who were sick with a word."

So today, God's words are my medicine. God's words will heal me. I am now meditating on God's words, and I am receiving God's healing. Hallelujah! These are all things you can meditate on repeatedly. So when your mouth is saying, "He bore my sickness, He bore my sickness, He bore my sickness," you should think,

"Why can He bear your sickness?"

"When did He bear your sickness?"

"He bore our sicknesses two thousand years ago; by His stripes, we are healed." This is God's word; this is the promise God has given me! You should repeatedly meditate on "He bore my sickness, He has borne my sickness. Everyone who seeks Jesus for healing, Jesus has healed them. Jesus bore my sickness. Thank you and praise the Lord!"

In your mind, you should continuously recite these words: He is the God of healing; He has overcome all diseases. When His hand touches lepers, the lepers are cleansed; when He lifts a paralytic, the paralytic stands up; when He commands the dead to rise, the dead rise. All of this is Jesus Christ healing with His words. Hallelujah!

So today, when you have sickness in your body, you should repeatedly think about God's grace, think about the power of Jesus Christ, "He is the healer; He healed all who were sick. I am currently sick, but God can surely heal me because He bore my sickness. This sickness was borne by Jesus, so I do not need to bear this sickness anymore; I am healthy."

You can repeatedly meditate on God's grace before God, using God's words to fill your mouth. You should tell yourself, "Jesus has overcome death, overcome all diseases, and overcome all the powers of the devil. This mighty Lord is now healing me; He is now healing me; He bore my sickness." Hallelujah! Thank you and praise the Lord!

He is the Lord full of grace and mercy, and He is willing to heal me. Because everyone who seeks Him for healing, Jesus has healed them." Thank you and praise the Lord. You are now seeking Jesus; He will surely heal you; He bore your sickness. Thank you and praise the Lord! So you can use this passage of scripture to meditate on repeatedly.

When you go to bed at night, you can lie in bed and quietly recite, "He has borne my sickness; He has borne my sickness." Repeating such words can help you continuously think about the power of Jesus Christ and His healing. Thank you and praise the Lord! If any of you have insomnia, do not use the methods suggested by experts and doctors, "When you can't sleep, count sheep, one, two, three." That doesn't work; the more you count, the more awake you become. I will tell you a better method: you can use this time to meditate on God's words, meditate repeatedly, recite repeatedly. Do you know why? Because when you meditate like this, the devil will be afraid.

Thank the Lord; God loves it when you continuously recite His words. The devil is very afraid when you often meditate on God's words. The devil will tell you, "Hurry up and sleep! Then you won't need to meditate; just go to sleep!" Thank you and praise the Lord! Whether you sleep or not, thank you and praise the Lord! It is all God's grace. So you should use such words to do what? To repeatedly meditate day and night in your mouth. Hallelujah! Miracles will happen through your mouth. Thank you and praise the Lord! The devil is very afraid when you practice like this, so he makes many people overlook this point.

Today, many people listen to the word and forget it afterward, just saying, "Oh, that was a good word." When you ask them what they absorbed, they say, "I don't know; I forgot." So today, we should not only listen to the word but also meditate on the relevant scriptures we hear. Do not let Jesus' words depart from your mouth; always recite them repeatedly. You do not need to speak out loud, but in your heart and on your tongue, let it be like speaking in tongues, continuously reciting and meditating on a passage of scripture, and it will release power. Thank you and praise the Lord! In fact, today people can listen to many words at any time.

For example, if you want to hear a certain pastor's sermon, you might go to his church or find his sermon online. Too many people are continuously listening, listening, listening, just like today when you keep eating, it can lead to indigestion.

Today, many people listen to different pastors' sermons and end up becoming evaluators of the sermons. What does it mean to be an evaluator? It means, "Hmm, this pastor preached well." Then they listen to another pastor and say, "Oh, this pastor is not good; it's really terrible; what is he talking about?" Brothers and sisters, this is being an evaluator of sermons.

Thank the Lord; we should not be such a person. Because our appetite changes, we easily become evaluators. When listening to the word, you are eating God's words, truly receiving them. Many people are indeed blessed through listening to the word; this is a fact. But today, we need to digest what we hear. When you digest it, it will become yours. When you eat a piece of meat, once it is digested, it becomes your strength. Thank you and praise the Lord! You need to have discernment like your stomach; if you eat a bun and a stone, your stomach can digest the bun, but the stone must be expelled.

Today, many people already have the ability to discern when listening to the word. What we need to do is practice digesting these words.

Hebrews 5:14 tells us, "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

How do we practice to become discerning? It is not by listening to more sermons, as that will make you an evaluator. Instead, after you listen, you need to practice discernment by repeatedly meditating on God's words. You will be able to discern whether what the person is preaching aligns with the Bible and whether it needs to be digested. If what he preaches does not align with the Bible, that is a stone, so do not try to digest it; do not harbor doubts in your heart; just expel it without even discussing it.

Because discussing words that exceed the Bible will only lead to more problems. So many people listen to some pastors' sermons and say, "Because one pastor said this, what does it mean?" In fact, we need to tell ourselves whether this aligns with the Bible. If it does, we can discuss it; if not, we should not meditate on it.

Today, we want to meditate on the words of God in the Bible. God's words are what we need to spend time meditating on repeatedly. Only God's words, the more you meditate on them, the more grace you will have, and the more benefits they will bring, rather than arguments.

If during the sermon, a passage of scripture touches you deeply, then write it down and start meditating on it. Remember, it is not about meditating on the pastor's words, but on the words of the Bible. You can use the pastor's explanation as a reference, but only as a reference.

Because only God's words are full of power. Many people can say, "Hmm, that was really good." But if there is no meditation, it only exists in your mind, not in your heart. So this is an important avenue for you to have everything go well; the process of meditation is the process of enjoyment; the process of meditation is the process of entering into rest.

Today, we are meditating on God's grace and truth. We are meditating on what Jesus Christ has done for us. The more you meditate on these words, the more gratitude you will have in your heart, and the more joy you will experience. So we should not be like those under the law, who reflect on their sins every day.

Brothers and sisters, think about this: a person who comes before God, when others tell him he needs to confess his sins daily, must wrack his brain to think about what sins he has committed. At that moment, he is meditating on his sins, not on God's words. This is a very dangerous thing. If a Christian meditates on their sins every day, how can they avoid sinning? But when we often meditate on God's grace, it is different.

We meditate on Jesus Christ, Amen! So grace and truth come through Jesus Christ. All grace, all forgiveness, and love come from Jesus Christ. The more you meditate on these, the more your heart will be filled with the joy of Christ and the peace of Christ. Thank you and praise the Lord! When you have problems, do not meditate on your problems; instead, meditate on the relevant words in the Bible. For example, if today you encounter something you feel you cannot handle, and you are very troubled, at that moment you can meditate on 1 John 4:4, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

A simple passage of scripture can drive away all fear from your heart because many times, the reason you are afraid is that you lack assurance and do not have a method to overcome the problem. But today we have told you the method: meditate on the relevant words in the Bible. "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." If you meditate on this passage, no matter how big the problem is, it will not control you anymore. Because when you meditate, God's rest will enter you, and you will enter into God's rest because you know that Jesus has overcome the world; He has overcome everything; no difficulty can defeat Jesus.

Today, the Holy Spirit is in your heart; He is your helper. So He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. In such a situation, can you say that this problem is greater than God? No, no problem can defeat our God. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? So you can use many scriptures to meditate on. In this repeated meditation, fear will be driven out from within you; sickness will be driven out from within you. Because you will no longer be deceived by the devil. When you correctly meditate on God's words, this power will fill you, and the devil will have no opportunity. So meditation is very, very important.

When you meditate on God's words, the Holy Spirit will personally guide you, making everything you do go smoothly. Even if you may make mistakes, it does not affect God's plan. God will turn everything into something beneficial for you.

So no matter how bad the environment you are facing is, do not be discouraged, because God is with you. You should meditate on God's words. Many people in the Old Testament were able to overcome their circumstances and did not complain because they knew that God would surely save them.

For example, we often read Psalm 23, David's psalm: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." Why was David not afraid in such an environment? Because he knew that God was with him.

So he said, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Although David's problems were not resolved at that time, he already saw the answer. He said, "My God will prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies." Every time he meditated like this, he was filled with God's peace and joy. Thank you and praise the Lord! Hallelujah! So brothers and sisters, keep God's words in your mouth! The reason the people of Israel are so blessed is that they truly did this.

More than ten years ago, I met a few Jewish people who had been in our country for many years. However, they have a habit that never changes: every weekend, they gather together and often discuss God's words.

We have read such words before; God told the people of Israel, "You shall teach my words to your children; you shall talk about them with your family during meals, at other times, before going to bed, often discussing them. You shall bind my words as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes; you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your home is filled with my words. You shall also communicate with my words often, and you will be blessed."

Today, we see that the Jewish people indeed do this. Although many of them do not accept Jesus now, they have continued to follow such words. So look at why they are so blessed? Because truly meditating makes everything go well.

Brothers and sisters, this is a very, very important thing: when you meditate on Him, you are repeatedly thinking about the essence of this scripture, repeatedly thinking about the benefits this scripture brings you. Brothers and sisters, the Bible is written by God for you; it is God's letter to you. So when you read it, you should know that there are many promises inside that God has given you.

So you should read such promises repeatedly, and you will understand God's heart, which is to heal you, to bless you; He truly hopes that everything goes well for you. When God met Abraham, He spoke words of blessing: "Leave this place, and I will make you a great nation; I will bless you." Hallelujah! When God met Jacob, at that time he had nothing, and God said, "I will be with you and bless you." Hallelujah! These are the words God has given us.

Every child of God should see that when God spoke to them, He gave them a very clear promise: God's words were given to them. When they were weak, meditating on God's words would restore their strength. Abraham was the same; when he truly had no hope, he longed for a child but had none. God comforted him again with words, saying, "Abraham, can you count the stars in the sky?"

Then Abraham began to count the stars, "One, two, three...," and finally said, "Oh, I can't count them." God said, "Your descendants will be as many as the stars in the sky." This is God's word to Abraham. So every time Abraham felt weak or doubtful, when he looked up at the night sky, he remembered God's words, and this vision gave him faith.

Today, we can rejoice, have peace, and have faith, and an important source of this is from God's words. You should keep God's words in your mouth. It is hard not to be joyful. Because God's grace fills us. Hallelujah, thank you and praise the Lord!

Let us continue. When you meditate on God's words, God will guide you, making everything you do go smoothly. There may be some mistakes along the way, but this does not affect God's plan. God wants everything to ultimately become beneficial for you. Therefore, a person's external behavior is determined by their inner thoughts. No one can see what you meditate on, but people can see the fruits you bear after meditating.

Thank the Lord; Jesus also said, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil." So all of this, our words and actions, are the fruits of what we think in our hearts, which determine our external behavior. Hallelujah! So let God's words fill your lips and then enter your heart.

God wants you to prosper in all things and has given us a very good method: to continuously meditate on God's words. This matter is so important that God placed it in the Bible for us to read. You read the relevant scriptures and then continuously meditate until this scripture enters your heart. What truly enters your heart will not be forgotten; what resides in your heart will determine the quality of your life.

When such faith-filled words become seeds in your heart, they will surely bear the fruits of the Spirit. Hallelujah! It is really that simple.

Many places keep telling us, and many people say, "You need to have good behavior; you need to do this, do that, change, etc." What we do not realize is that when God's words, such seeds of grace, enter you, you will inevitably bear the fruits of the Spirit. Thank the Lord, Hallelujah!

1 Peter 1:23 says, "Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever."

Today, we are born again not of corruptible seed but of the living and abiding word of God, and this word is our seed. You take God's word as a seed and place it in your heart. Thank you and praise the Lord! Your heart is the good soil for this seed.

Thank the Lord; Jesus also told such parables, right? Some hear the word, and that word falls on rocky ground; that person's heart is as hard as a stone, so the seed cannot enter, and in the end, what happens? It is eaten by birds. Today, many people listen to the word like this; their ears hear it, but their hearts do not want to accept the word. Their hearts are like stones, and the seed cannot enter. In the end, the devil comes and takes away the word from them; there are also those that fall among thorns, which means what?

Today, after we hear God's words, we hesitate! We start to think, "Oh, if I do this, I will suffer a great loss. I don't want to do this because I will lose many things!" When worries exist, you cannot bear fruit; there are also some people who, after hearing God's eternal, living word, are on shallow, rocky ground. They hear it and are very excited, saying, "Wow, that was great!" But after three minutes at home, they lose their enthusiasm for reading the Bible and praying, and after a few days, they stop.

Meditation is not a one-day thing; it is something to be done over a long time. Let God's words take root in our hearts.

Only good soil, Jesus said, "is the one who hears the word and receives it with joy, and bears fruit with patience, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred." This is the seed of God we are talking about. This seed does not exist in the soil for just one day and then sprout; it cannot bear fruit immediately. This seed must remain in the soil, and it must germinate, change shape, fill the soil, and connect completely with the roots.

After you hear God's words, you need to repeatedly think about them, allowing the seed of this word to grow roots in your heart. Then, after it takes root, today we still need to continuously listen to the word and meditate. You should do this every day, and you will surely bear fruit. At least thirtyfold. Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord! This is the word God wants to give us today, so that we do not merely stay at the level of listening to the word, but more importantly, we place it in our hearts and meditate on it repeatedly, and it will produce power. Hallelujah!

Jesus was a person who often meditated. The Bible tells us that after Jesus performed miracles, sometimes before dawn, He would go up the mountain to pray. Jesus became our example.

Today, you can also list meditation as prayer; this is acceptable because using God's words to continuously speak to yourself and communicate with God, just like the words we shared earlier, when you have illness in your body, indeed pray. Many people pray, saying, "Lord—Lord—afraid that the Lord cannot hear," rather than crying out desperately, it is better to keep God's words in your heart. "By the stripes of Jesus, I have been healed."

Here, I want to share a small testimony with the brothers and sisters:

In our church, there is a sister who returned to her hometown. At that time, she had some illness because her hometown is rural and far from the hospital. So she began to use scripture for healing. She read Isaiah 53:4-6, "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." She repeatedly recited this scripture, one time, two times, three times, four times, five times... until finally, after more than forty times, the pain suddenly disappeared. Thank you and praise the Lord!

You can never imagine how great the power of God's words is! Indeed, many times we only place it on the surface of our brains; it has not entered our hearts. When God's words are read repeatedly and meditated upon, they will have miraculous effects because God's words have healing power.

When Jesus healed people, most of the time He did so using His words. Hallelujah! Today, Jesus has written His words in the Bible; we just need to read and hear Jesus' words. The important thing is to let these words become seeds in your heart so that they can bear fruit. Thank you and praise the Lord!

Brothers and sisters, when you read Genesis, you will find that Isaac was very blessed. Others competed with him for things, and he would yield, saying, "You take it." As a result, God made him prosper even more. Isaac's life was almost free of major setbacks, unlike his father or his son Jacob, who faced many hardships throughout their lives.

I once asked God, "Lord, why was Isaac so blessed, and why did he not go through many setbacks in his life?" One day, when I read this passage of scripture, I finally understood. Today, I also want to share this passage with the brothers and sisters, hoping you will enjoy meditating on it, as it will bring you great benefits.

It is this passage, Genesis 24:63: "And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening, and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming."

I want to tell the brothers and sisters a beautiful story. This passage is also for those who are not yet married but wish to be. Thank you and praise the Lord! This passage is very important because my marriage is also related to this passage. So meditation is really important; it will bring you great benefits. Thank the Lord!

His father was old, but Isaac had not yet married; he was nearly forty years old. His father was probably anxious and told the old servant, "You must go back to my hometown and find a wife for my son, but do not take my son there; let the women from that land come willingly to marry my son."

Today, I want to share another theme with the brothers and sisters from a different perspective. It is very beautiful, truly wonderful. Isaac was an obedient child; he did not say to his father, "Father, look, marriage is such a big deal. You won't let me see her, or know her character, her family background, or what kind of personality she has? How can I be at ease? She will marry me as long as she is willing to come, but what about my later life?" He did not argue with his father but prayed to God about this matter.

What was Isaac praying about during this time? What was he doing in the field? Because he did not need to work; there were plenty of laborers in his family. What was he meditating on in the field? Perhaps he was praying for his marriage!

So especially for those who are older, do not be anxious; meditate on God's words. When Isaac began to meditate in the field, something wonderful was happening on the other side. Thank the Lord! This is a very important thing. One person is meditating, while on the other side, a beautiful love story is unfolding. So just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not happening; you need to see this with the eyes of faith. Isaac was meditating on God's grace, believing that since God could bless his father Abraham, He would surely bless him too.

You can meditate on your situation at home; you can pray to God about your marriage.

His old servant met a very beautiful woman, and this woman was very willing to come to his house. Although she had never seen what Isaac looked like, she was very willing to follow his old servant to Isaac's home. Isaac was truly an example of obedience; he did not say, "Father, let me see what my future wife looks like." He only saw her after everything was settled.

Genesis 24:64-65

"And Rebekah lifted her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from her camel; for she had said to the servant, 'Who is this man walking in the field to meet us?' The servant said, 'It is my master.' So she took a veil and covered herself."

Isaac still did not have the opportunity to see what his future wife looked like, but do you know? Because God had a blessing for Abraham, and Isaac firmly grasped this blessing.

In Genesis 22, God spoke to Abraham, and Isaac was present at that time when Isaac was to be offered. God said:

"In blessing, I will bless you; and in multiplying, I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies, and in your seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed."

Thank the Lord, Isaac heard God's words of blessing with his own ears. So he knew that to have descendants, this wife was crucial. He was always meditating. What was Isaac meditating on? God did not tell us, but today you can use your thoughts to meditate on God's words.

I just want to tell the brothers and sisters that I believe he was meditating on his marriage because in Genesis 24:67, "Then Isaac brought Rebekah into his mother Sarah's tent, and he took Rebekah as his wife, and he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother's death."

Thank the Lord! Why did Isaac love her? There is an important thing here: Rebekah was exactly the kind of person Isaac had prayed for and desired. So after he married her, he loved her very much. Another passage particularly mentions that Isaac was comforted after his mother passed away. This shows that Isaac was very satisfied with this wife, so you can pray for your marriage, and God will arrange it, and you will be very satisfied with your partner. This is what God has given us.

God will not force Jacob to marry someone he does not like, as Laban did, because Jacob only liked another. What Isaac prayed for, God gave him, and it was indeed what he desired. Isaac loved her very much. Thank the Lord! And it says that since his mother passed away, he found comfort in his wife. Because his wife probably understood how to care for him, he was very satisfied in every way.

Through God's words, Isaac received comfort. When you meditate on the love of the Father, peace and joy will flow into your heart from God's words; when you think about and meditate on the love of the Father, this love will fill your heart, giving you the ability to love others; when you repeatedly meditate on Jesus' healing and compassion, your whole being will be healed, and health will appear in you; when you meditate on everything Jesus Christ has accomplished for you, on all the works He has done for you, this will make you no longer afraid and will not leave the devil any opportunity.

Today, God has prepared everything for me; He has prepared a rich life for me; this salvation has been completed. When you meditate on the Holy Spirit, He will guide your heart, enabling you to walk in God's words and giving you the strength to act according to God's words, allowing you to have God's assurance in your heart, making you like Isaac, blessed in all things. The more you meditate, the more God's rest will fill you. Let meditation become a lifestyle we practice throughout our lives; it will change your life and make everything you do go smoothly. Hallelujah! Thank you and praise the Lord!

Let us pray together:

Loving Heavenly Father, I especially thank and praise you for your grace. Thank you for keeping us during this time and supplying us with your words. Today, we are willing to meditate on your words, keeping them in our hearts, letting your words be like seeds sown in our hearts, bearing thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and a hundredfold fruit. Help us develop this spiritual habit of consuming your words as food, digesting and absorbing them, so that the power of your words may be manifested in us, bringing glory and testimony to you. Especially bless every brother and sister who has come here. Thank you and praise the Lord. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!
