1 Timothy 1:18-19,
18 Timothy, my son, I entrust to you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, 19 holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.
Today's topic is called, A Clear Conscience.
How can those who believe in the Lord fight the good fight in this world?
The passage we just read says that we must hold on to faith and a good conscience. If you have faith but lack a good conscience, it is still not enough. Some say, "As long as I have faith, that's fine." But the scripture tells us that some have rejected their conscience, and in doing so, they have shipwrecked their faith.
What happens to a ship that is wrecked? Its end is sinking. In other words, if a person rejects their conscience, they will be unable to achieve their goals; perhaps their ministry will fail right from the start. Some things may never yield results. Why? Because in your faith, you have forgotten about a clear conscience. If that conscience is discarded, faith becomes like a wrecked ship.
So what role does conscience play?
First, do not let your conscience bear the marks of evil.
1 Timothy 4:1-2 tells us,
1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
What kind of things do they do?
1 Timothy 4:3-5
They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
This passage tells us that the Spirit clearly says—in later times, you can understand "in later times" as "in our current generation." God is raising up the gospel ministry in these last days to lead people back to faith and to the truth.
When people talk about faith, many will ask: What do you believe in? Is it religion? Someone once asked if your leader is called "Jesus." Brothers and sisters, of course not. Jesus is Jesus, not some religious leader.
There are different religions in the world, but people cannot distinguish between religion and faith, so many casually say, "I have faith," but faith is different from religion; faith is life, while religion is merely an organization. In fact, there is only one true faith in this world, and that is the truth of Christ.
Today, many people mention faith but rarely talk about the truth of "justification by faith." We are not preaching about how many sins people have or how they should behave to have good works; that is what other religions have always talked about, and it is not the gospel. The scripture mentions that some have abandoned the truth; what truth have they abandoned? It is the truth of justification by faith. So what do they emphasize? They emphasize good behavior and good character.
But a person is justified not by doing good or good performance, but by faith. When a person is justified, God's blessings are upon them. God blesses people through Jesus.
Why do some people abandon this truth? The previous scripture says it is because they follow deceiving spirits and the teachings of demons. Here, a term is mentioned: "the teachings of deceiving spirits." Today, many people listen to us talk about Jesus and find it very reasonable! In fact, what we are talking about is not a set of principles but a life. The devil always wants to make life just like other teachings; this is one of the methods by which the devil tempts people to abandon the truth. Why? Because what you hear will affect your life. What you hear will affect your living.
Those who overly emphasize behavior are exactly reversing it. They tell you that you must have good behavior in order to believe well. They tell you about correct living, about doing good and having good behavior. Of course, we also agree that Christians should have good behavior. Our Lord Jesus also emphasizes that our good works should be evident for the world to see; however, people telling themselves every day that they must have good behavior still cannot produce good behavior. Because correct faith and correct thinking produce correct behavior. People find that relying on their own efforts to do good and have good behavior often leads to the opposite effect.
So Romans 7:18-23
18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
This tells us that the key is that you must have correct faith to have correct living and behavior. How can you have correct faith? First, you must know the truth. The devil's teachings tempt believers to abandon the truth of justification by faith; these hypocritical liars have consciences that are seared as with a hot iron.
What kind of demonic teachings are these? In the earlier passage from 1 Timothy 4, it says they forbid marriage and order abstention from foods, etc. Let's look at a passage of scripture that talks about teachings that are all prohibitive—don't marry, don't eat this kind of food, don't do this, don't do that, etc. These are all prohibitive teachings.
Many people oppose the gospel because they always say, "You keep talking about grace, and people will deliberately sin and indulge themselves." In fact, this is adhering to the devil's teachings; it is merely a hypothesis, while the devil's teachings prohibit you from doing certain things. The devil's teachings bind people through the law, condemn people, and make it difficult for them to move forward.
Let's think about it: If people today began to prohibit marriage, what would happen to the world? In a few years, there would be no people left in the world.
So today we need to correctly understand what the devil's deceptive methods are, and let's talk about abstaining from food. God prepared food for us to enjoy. Through this food, you can see God's greatness, you can see God's wonders, and you can see different provisions. If there were only one type of food in the world, only one tree, and the same faces, wouldn't you find it monotonous?
When we receive the various foods that God has given us with a grateful heart, we will see different graces in different places. Everything God created is filled with various wonderful sights, wonderful foods, animals, etc.; all of this is to show us God's wonders, God's greatness, and His omnipotence.
Different foods created by God have different tastes, and through this, we can see God's abundant provision. The devil's teachings that prohibit food will make people despise what God has created, thus binding their souls and causing them to live in fear.
1 Corinthians 8:8 Food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
Whether we eat or do not eat is our own choice and is the freedom God has given us; it will not make God love us more or less. However, many people set up many prohibitions, believing that as long as they do not eat certain things, God will be pleased with them, which makes many believers' lives more difficult and bound, and leads many to be unwilling to believe in Jesus. Some prohibitions are not even mentioned in the Bible. For example, Christians cannot drink alcohol, cannot sing worldly songs, cannot participate in various secular ceremonies like weddings and funerals, etc.
Brothers and sisters, have you noticed the problem here? There is no biblical teaching, yet many use these to bind believers. Even if people sing a worldly song, does that mean God will not be pleased with them or abandon them?
As people continue to receive such erroneous teachings, over time, they find that this has become a principle that is passed down, and many are following it. It is as if our conscience has been branded with a hot iron. What does it mean for a "conscience to be seared as with a hot iron"? In Hebrew, it means leaving a mark of evil on your conscience. Just like in the past when livestock were bought and sold, the owner would leave a brand on the livestock. With a very hot mark on the cow or sheep, it would sizzle and leave a mark, representing that it belongs to them.
Specifically, when people receive such demonic teachings, it is as if a mark of evil is left on their hearts time and time again. No matter what people do, this mark of evil always reminds them of their wrongdoings. For example, if someone is sick today, others will tell them they are sick because they have sinned. If your business fails this time, others will tell you that you have sinned against God, so this is God's discipline for you. If your prayers are not answered, it is only temporarily unanswered, and someone will tell you that it is because you have not confessed all your sins, so God does not hear your prayers.
Do you see? Many things are always connected to sin, and every time this mark of evil will sizzle and leave a mark on you. Again and again, this mark of evil is deeply embedded in people's consciences, so when they pray to God, wanting to ask for blessings, this mark of evil will come up, making them lack the faith to believe that God will surely fulfill their prayers, uncertain whether God is willing to hear their prayers.
"Do you still have a sin you haven't confessed?"
"You won't be heard by God if you pray like this."
"Look at you, you have no good behavior at all, and you still have the nerve to ask God."
"You just bear the consequences yourself."
Do you see? This mark of evil always makes people aware of their sins. This is precisely the work of the devil, not to let people focus on Christ's righteousness but always to let people focus on their own mistakes.
When a person's conscience bears such marks, no matter what they do, whether they do good or bad, they will not have joy and peace. Because after doing good, this mark of evil will tell you, "Do you know how many sins you have committed?" What do you have to be proud of with just this little? If you do bad things, it is even worse; it tells you, "I am a sinner, born in sin, and you must confess your sins to God, otherwise God will not be pleased with you."
At this point, you must know that only when you have a clear conscience can you have peace in your heart, because only when you have a clear conscience do you feel that you are not wronging God, and you are not trying to please God by your good behavior; only then will you have faith in God and confidence in His words.
We see an example in the Bible:
After Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples lost their peace; their teacher was gone, and they were very frightened. At this time, the disciples gathered together to pray. Suddenly, Jesus appeared among them and said, "Peace be with you." At this moment, the disciples did not rejoice; when Jesus told them what had been accomplished, He stretched out His hands and showed them His side. When the disciples saw Jesus like this, they rejoiced.
What was the reason? Because at that moment they saw the words of Jesus come to pass. The disciples' consciences were validated, and at that moment they had a clear conscience, so they rejoiced.
Brothers and sisters, today if you know that the price of your sins has been completely paid by Jesus, you will be joyful. At this moment, you will have a clear conscience, and faith will take effect; you will know that God is pleased with you. Before Adam sinned, the intimate relationship with God was built on a clear conscience. Thank the Lord!
Let your conscience bear the mark of grace.
We cannot casually speak the truth; we cannot say that someone is clearly guilty today but deceives themselves into thinking they are innocent. No one can deceive God. Brothers and sisters, if we say today that we are guilty people, and sin is still upon people, even if people say they are innocent, it is useless. God knows everything.
Similarly, a clear conscience is not something we say ourselves; it is the assurance given to us in the Bible: Jesus Christ has already testified for us. We have the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a seal. We have the cross as a sign of our salvation. Hallelujah!
So today we can boldly accept this fact. Hebrews 9 mentions that the gifts and sacrifices offered in the Old Testament cannot make the worshipers perfect in conscience. If your conscience is perfect, which is what we call a clear conscience, it will affect your behavior, and you will glorify Jesus Christ. But the scripture we just read mentions that the gifts and sacrifices offered in the Old Testament cannot make the worshipers perfect in conscience because the Old Testament sacrifices are imperfect.
In Hebrews 9:11-14, there is a passage that says,
11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands—that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by the means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. 13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
This passage makes it very clear that the sacrifices offered in the Old Testament can only temporarily cover people's sins. If even limited sacrifices can sanctify and cleanse the body, how much more can Jesus cleanse us? Why do our consciences still feel guilty? Why do many Christians still feel like sinners after believing in Jesus? Why do they feel they are not completely cleansed and need to confess their sins to be cleansed? If that is the case, what did Jesus accomplish on the cross?
In the Old Testament, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer were sprinkled on what kind of people? On unclean people, and when these ashes were sprinkled on unclean people, it made them holy and their bodies clean (you can understand that their sins were temporarily covered at that time).
Verse 14 makes it very clear, "How much more," what does "how much more" mean? If you compare these two things, how does the blood of Jesus Christ compare to the blood of goats and bulls? How does it compare to the ashes of a heifer? Its effect is more lasting, its power is greater, Amen!
Besides this, through the eternal Spirit, He offered himself unblemished to God. It is particularly mentioned here that there is a very important statement; I hope you can meditate on this passage when you read it: The blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse your conscience even more! Thank the Lord!
Many people do not know that the blood of Jesus Christ has already cleansed us forever.
Verse 12 says, He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. Thank the Lord!
So why do believers feel they are not yet cleansed? Our cleansing is not the result of our efforts; it is the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is not like the blood of those Old Testament sacrifices, which could only cover for a year. The blood of Christ does not cover; it eternally removes sin, thank the Lord, and cleanses your conscience. What does our conscience have that the Lord Jesus must cleanse? Jesus knows that salvation has been accomplished, but in our consciences, the incomplete understanding of God, the marks of past sins, still remain in our hearts. Therefore, God hopes we understand what He has done for us on the cross. This allows our consciences not to condemn ourselves and to receive the eternal redemption He has accomplished.
Hebrews 10 tells us,
Hebrews 10:2 For if it had been possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins, they would not have been offered again and again, for the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.
After Jesus Christ offered himself for our sins on the cross, our consciences were cleansed. When we participate in worship and receive the message, we are to receive the work that Christ has accomplished. This allows those who participate in worship to no longer feel guilty in their consciences. Thus, our focus will always be on Christ; He is our standard, He is our benchmark.
Today, many people always use "dead works" to condemn others, saying, "Look, you have believed in the Lord, but you have no good behavior at all. Is this how you are? Do you still want to enter the kingdom of heaven?"
But the Bible tells us that the blood of Jesus Christ has also removed your dead works. What do these "dead works" refer to? I specifically checked the original Greek; in Greek, it refers to dead, bad behaviors.
Removing dead works means the blood of Jesus Christ has taken us out of those bad behaviors; God has saved us from those bad behaviors. Jesus has completely removed our dead works. We must always be aware that in Christ, we are new creations; the old has passed away, and all has become new. Now the Holy Spirit dwells in my heart. Your behavior will naturally change, and you will live out the style of a new person.
If you do not believe that all of this has been accomplished, it will affect your conscience, making your conscience feel guilty, as if your sins have not been cleansed. This will affect your faith. This is why we read at the beginning that if you only have faith but do not have a clear conscience, you are like a wrecked ship.
Only when you have a clear conscience can your faith be unshakable, and you can be certain about God. When you pray to God, you can believe that God has already heard you and that you will soon see the answer. If your conscience still carries a sense of guilt, still carries uncertainty about whether your sins are completely forgiven, you will not be sure if God has heard your prayer this time. Thank the Lord, so this clear conscience has a significant impact on us.
The Bible tells us that we should give thanks in everything. With such a grateful heart, we should live each day. Especially when we encounter people we cannot forgive or when we face injustices, many people's gratitude disappears. Especially when we see things we do not want to see happen, many people's gratitude vanishes. This is all the work of the conscience. Only when we realize that our consciences have been cleansed by Jesus and we receive His forgiveness can we forgive others.
Jesus forgives us even more; if we believe that we have been completely forgiven by Christ, we will have the strength to forgive others. Because every day you will experience Jesus' forgiveness for you. Therefore, we should examine whether our lives are filled with gratitude every day. This is the teaching of the Bible; not every Christian can be grateful every day. The reason lies in the clear conscience. If your conscience bears the mark of evil, you will self-condemn, seeing only your shortcomings, deficiencies, and failures. You will see others in the same way, focusing only on their flaws and problems, and your heart will often be filled with bitterness and complaints.
But if the mark in your conscience is the mark of grace, what is special about it? The word "grace" in Greek means a gift given freely. This means that in your heart, you are filled with gratitude towards God because you always see how Christ loves you, how He accomplishes great things for you, and how He guides you to victory. You will also be generous and willing to help others, often seeing others' strengths and covering their shortcomings.
For example, some people understand that they live in grace every day; the mark left on their conscience every day is the mark of grace. They might say, "Although my house is not big, it is filled with love." They will tell me, "There is love living here." Although the salary is not high, this person will still be filled with gratitude because they know they live in God's grace and lack nothing; God always has provisions.
Let the mark of grace be imprinted on your conscience; do not let the mark of evil remain on your conscience. When the mark of grace is imprinted on your conscience, you will view the world with a heart of gratitude in everything. Everything will be different; you will see God's abundant provision in everything, and everything will be filled with gratitude. Hallelujah! Therefore, the Bible tells us that God wants us to give thanks in everything; there must be God's great and wonderful grace in it.
Sometimes when I ask some Christians why they are grateful, they will say, "Because God has recently healed my body and answered my prayers." Of course, these are things we should be grateful for. However, are these really the only things we should thank God for? No, every day we should thank God.
What is the reason? It goes back to the gospel. When Jesus bore our sins on the cross, He saw all our life’s sins. He not only took the place of those who lived before Him but also for those who would come after. All of us are born after Jesus, so at the time of Jesus on the cross, we are all future people. This includes you who are listening to the sermon today and everyone born after us. When Jesus was on the cross, He saw all these people's life sins, and He also died for these people. Because He knew we would sin in the future. He has seen your past sins, your present sins, and even some future sins that you do not yet know about. Jesus saw them all. His redemption transcends time and space. When we know that God understands everything about us and still loves us, our gratitude will increase.
When Jesus bore all human sins, He gave us a gift: His holiness, His righteousness. He accepted God's punishment on the cross, allowing us to live in God's grace every day, so that our consciences are no longer branded by the mark of evil again and again, but are filled with His grace time and time again.
Every day we can see how many times Jesus has forgiven us in our lives. How many sins have you committed in your life, and how many times have you received Jesus' forgiveness? Hallelujah! This has already been accomplished; you do not need to ask God for new forgiveness.
So when you see the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross, you know that He has completely forgiven all your sins. You will be more willing to love Him; you will not deliberately indulge yourself. Therefore, today when we see that we have sinned again, you should be assured that this sin has already been borne by Jesus. Jesus has forgiven us, and thus we can forgive others' wrongs.
In our lives, there are many mistakes and errors, and Jesus has forgiven us time and time again. When you see all of this, we can only say, "Lord, I am so unworthy, yet I have received such great grace from You." You will live in God's grace, always aware of Christ's forgiveness, His goodness, His love, and imprint this mark of grace on your conscience. You will constantly remind yourself that all of this was earned for you by Jesus with His life. You will grow increasingly grateful to God.
If people always focus on being sinners, on their own problems, they will continuously condemn themselves, and their consciences will feel condemned and guilty. These feelings will not give people confidence or strength to overcome sin; instead, they will lead people to completely abandon their faith and live entirely in sin. Conversely, if people are always aware of Christ's goodness, their faith will continue to grow. They will have beautiful testimonies.
In the Bible, there is a story: Four men carried a paralyzed man to find Jesus. Because there were too many people, these four men tore off the roof and lowered the paralyzed man down to Jesus' feet, hoping to receive healing from Jesus. Jesus said to the man, "Son, your sins are forgiven. Get up, take your mat, and go home!"
Jesus told this passage to let people know that He has the authority to forgive sins on earth. When this man knew that his sins had been forgiven, he had the faith to receive healing; faith and a clear conscience worked together. Whenever people discover God's grace in life, they will give thanks to God.
Do not let the mark of evil remain on your conscience. When the mark of evil is branded on your conscience time and time again, you will not become more holy; you will not become more righteous. Instead, you will fall into countless sins. Jesus has saved us from the curse of the law; we are free in Christ. Free to forgive others, free to give out Christ's love without being hurt.
In the Garden of Eden, there were two very special trees: one called the Tree of Life and the other called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God never prohibited Adam and Eve from eating the fruit of the Tree of Life. But when people eat the fruit of the Tree of Life, what will they have? They will have eternal life, they will have faith, they will have peace and joy, and all the best blessings. Unfortunately, Adam did not eat the fruit of the Tree of Life; instead, he ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
From then on, people gained something called conscience. The function of conscience began to operate. What is the standard for this conscience to distinguish good from evil? Its standard is not God, nor is it God's word, but itself. Therefore, human conscience is unreliable; different people have different consciences. Different people, in different periods, have different standards for judging right and wrong.
Sometimes we feel that something is wrong, but for some people, their conscience feels justified in doing so. For example, there is a man in the Bible named Saul. When he was guarding the clothes of those who killed Stephen, he did not feel that killing Stephen was wrong; his conscience told him that this was correct. This is what we mentioned earlier about conscience. In most cases, people's consciences are branded by evil time and time again, and over time, they accept the deceptive teachings of demons, losing the ability to distinguish right from wrong.
Today, you have a clear conscience that comes from God. This clear conscience means that God no longer condemns you. This clear conscience allows you to look not to your own standards but to the cross of Jesus Christ, the resurrected Jesus Christ.
The price of your sins has been completely paid. Only in this way will your life change. Only when we look to the work of Jesus Christ do we not rely on confession to receive forgiveness; we rely on the blood of Jesus Christ. His redemption has granted us forgiveness; He shed His precious blood on the cross to pay our debt, allowing us to receive God's complete forgiveness. Thank the Lord.
When you know that all these debts have been paid, you will have faith, and this faith is the sincere faith mentioned in the Bible. Hallelujah! This faith has a testimony with your conscience; you truly know that this debt has been paid, that Jesus Christ indeed suffered for your sickness, therefore I believe that I am healthy. By His wounds, we are healed. Thank the Lord!
When your conscience no longer feels guilty, when your conscience is no longer condemned, you can come boldly before God, because you are not trying to please God with your good behavior; because my God has already been pleased with me. Because of what Jesus has done, God has always been pleased with me, so I am willing to do what pleases God.
The mark of grace is the work of Jesus Christ. Keep it in your heart. All grace comes from Jesus Christ, Hallelujah!
Let’s return to our main text today, 1 Timothy 1:18,
Paul says to Timothy: "Timothy, my son, I entrust to you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well."
Paul tells Timothy that you must hold on to your faith and what else? A clear conscience. Hallelujah! If today you feel that you no longer owe God, you will have the confidence to receive abundant provision from God. If you feel that you do not owe anyone, you will feel relaxed, Hallelujah!
When we hold on to faith and a clear conscience today, you can fight the good fight. What is the good fight? When fighting, most people say there is winning and losing, but Paul tells Timothy to fight the good fight. What is the good fight? You must declare that Jesus Christ has already won; you must declare that the devil has already lost, so this is called the good fight.
We do not rely on ourselves to defeat the devil; we declare in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that the devil has already lost. Because the outcome has already been determined, today whenever you go to battle with the devil, we are not fighting against it but declaring its defeat; it has completely and utterly failed. Christ defeated the devil two thousand years ago.
Jesus Christ has already won; Jesus Christ's victory is your victory. Thank and praise the Lord! Only when you have faith and a clear conscience can you be the declarer of this victory. If you are not even sure that your sins are forgiven and completely pardoned, how can you tell the devil such things? Because it will tell you, "Look, you have sinned again today; what are you saying? You are a sinner." You will immediately feel, "What qualifications do I have to say it has lost?" The devil will say, "You are also a loser; what qualifications do you have to say that?"
We already have a clear conscience, so when the devil accuses you every time, you should tell it, "Go look at the perfect sacrifice that has been offered for me; His name is Jesus Christ. You check Him; if He has failed, then I am the one who has failed." Hallelujah.
So you must tell your conscience that today Jesus is in you, and today you receive His endless grace. You should always place this mark of grace on your conscience; do not let the devil's deceptive teachings tempt you.
So I wish brothers and sisters could hold on to a clear conscience, allowing your clear conscience to be filled with God's grace every day. Hallelujah, thank and praise the Lord!
If indeed today's sermon has helped you, and you say that you have indeed accepted the message of condemnation in the past, and there is often a sense of condemnation and guilt in your conscience. You always feel that what you have done is not enough, etc. At this time, I would like you to pray with me in your heart, letting you know that you already have that clear conscience.
Okay, let’s pray together:
Loving Heavenly Father, I believe that every sin in my life, Jesus, you bore it on the cross, and you shed your precious blood for it. On the cross, you granted me your righteousness, your holiness, and your wisdom; you placed these upon me. Father, I receive your forgiveness, I receive your salvation, and I thank you for this great grace.
Today, my conscience is no longer marked by evil but is marked by abundant grace; you have removed all my sins. The cross is the best testimony, the resurrected Jesus Christ is my best testimony, and the Holy Spirit in me is also the most beautiful testimony. I am willing to let go of the heavy sense of guilt that has entangled me and the guilt that has bound me. I know, Father, that you are pleased with me now; you are pleased with me not because I have good behavior but because of Jesus Christ.
Today, Father, as much as you love Jesus, I know how much you love me. Lord, thank you for granting me this abundant grace. I am willing to let this grace fill my conscience and be imprinted on my conscience. Lord, I am willing to accept this mark; I am willing to accept all the perfect work that Jesus has accomplished for me, because in this way, I have a clear conscience. I am no longer called a sinner; I am justified by faith and am God's most beloved child. You are willing to bless me and are very willing to bless me.
Lord, let me remember every day the work that Jesus Christ has accomplished for me. May all glory be given to you. Father, I thank you for giving me your Son Jesus and for granting me this abundant grace. Thank you for giving me this clear conscience. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!
